Black Militants Helping or Hurting?

The New Black Panther Party for Self Defense has established a headquarters in a rough neighborhood in Philadelphia.They are said to be advocating for "black unity and empowerment" in the crime ridden neighborhood. A neighborhood where a street is jokingly renamed "Killfield" from "Clearfield" by local residents. A man was murdered on this street by being shot 15 times. To achieve this black unity and empowerment, the group offers HIV testing and a future after school program for kids, all positive and productive activities.
