The Gospel of John...Adam & Steve?

John Danforth is proving that when you're wealthy, retired, and a former United States Senator, you can pretty much take any position you want on controversial issues without concerning yourself with public backlash. Danforth, heir to the Ralston Purina fortune, has had a distinguished public service career. He served as Missouri's Attorney General in the early 70's and as our senator for three terms before retiring in 1994. He was also on George W. Bush's short list for Vice President, ultimately turning down the invitation saying he wanted to stay retired and in St. Louis, "the city he loves." Read More...
