A True Journalist Dies today

"John H. Johnson died of heart failure at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after a long illness, said LaTrina Blair, promotions manager with Chicago-based Johnson Publishing Co." He died just a few hours ago at the age of 87.

If you click on the link (http://www.nathanielturner.com/johnhjohnson.htm), you will read about many of his accomplishments. Although the Left-Wing Liberal Media continually highlight Johnson with Democrat politians, most of his political relationships were with Republicans. Some of the following were:

1957 -- accompanied Vice President Richard M. Nixon on a special goodwill tour to nine African countries

1959 -- accompanied Vice President Nixon to Russia and Poland.

Mr. Nixon appointed Johnson as a diplomat to accompany his wife, Mrs. Patricia Nixon, on Air Force One for the inauguration of President William R. Tolbert Jr. of Liberia. (Mrs. Johnson was also a member of President Gerald Ford's entourage to China, the Philippines, Alaska and Hawaii in January 1976).

1970 -- appointed by President Nixon as a member of the President's Commission for the Observance of the 25th Anniversary of the United Nations.

He will be missed by all of us...Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust...
