Delima in the Peoples Republic of Berkeley, CA

The city of Berkeley is named after Bishop George Berkeley, who was a slave owner . He owned about 5 slaves. Now this would not be big news except there is an attempt by some in the city of Berkeley, CA to change the name of Jefferson Elementary School, because it is named after Democrat Slaveowner Thomas Jefferson.

If the proponents of this effort are successful, will they then begin the change of the City name? I doubt it. I done't they will even recognize the blatant hypocrisy!
