Re: Talk is Cheap

Dear Chairman Mehlman:

You and President Bush are spending a considerable amount of time talking to African-Americans, coining phrases such as the "party of Lincoln and Frederick Douglass." What does that mean if your only goal is to marginally break off the African-American vote? It is embarrassing and you are doing the African-American community a disservice. You are not creating a political infrastructure that competes with the Democratic party. Packing the podium with minority faces at Republican events is meaningless from a black perspective. The African-American voter is more sophisticated than that. The Republicans’ only budgeted one to two million dollars to reach black voters, (less than the cost to produce one Super Bowl ad). The fact that there are no major black elected policy makers serving in any state capitol, the United States Senate or the House of Representatives, leaves African-Americans no alternatives to the Democratics.

Conventional wisdom would have us believe that African-Americans began their defection from the GOP for economic reasons during Franklin D. Roosevelt’s social-welfare programs of the New Deal, thus becoming a reliable component of the big-city Democrat machines. The African-American embrace of the Democratic Party became even more prevalent during the 1960's; blacks voted overwhelmingly for Presidents' John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. The black vote led to the sweeping civil rights programs, which transformed a nation.

While it is true in part, that Democrats were successful in the battle over African-American voters by presenting them a convincing message, that message may have never been received had it not been used in conjunction with the Democrat Party’s considerable effort to legitimize that message by electing African-Americans to office. Any electorate is naturally skeptical and distrusting of politicians and their promises. Given this, the objective of any candidate is to get the electorate to relate to the candidate on a personal level in order to gain their trust, and therefore trust their message. In electing African-Americans, Democrats gained messengers capable of relating to the communities that they were asked to persuade. Democrats drew majority African-American districts, raised money for African-American candidates, provided grassroots mechanisms, and advanced the stature of their African-American officials. Through the gain of African-American officials, these communities were also privy to the same political graft that was so prevalent in Democrat machine politics, which in turn, solidified support among their community leaders.

During the Great Depression, we saw the rise of African-American Democrats such as Adam Clayton Powell of New York and William Levi Dawson of Chicago in city halls and in Congress. Does anyone think Mayor Daley cared about African-Americans in Chicago? NO! Does anyone really think FDR cared about the problems African-Americans were facing in the South? If so, why didn’t President Roosevelt make one public statement or one speech pertaining to the disgraceful lynching of African Americans during his nearly four terms? The Democrats' focus was to keep a safe majority for the Democratic Party and to stay in power. During this period, the Republican Party took the African-American community for granted, because they were the party of the great African-American emancipator, Abraham Lincoln.

Part two: The Solution

Representative Sherman Parker represented part of St. Charles County (District 12) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was the first African American elected to the Legislature from St. Charles County. He was elected to the House in November 2002 and was re-elected in 2004 with 73% of the vote. Sadly, on September 18th, 2008 at the age of 37, Mr. Parker died unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm.

Proposition 8 Did Better Than You Think.

The losers in the Prosotion 8 race have tried to portray their loss as a narrow one, caused by various boogeymen. (LDS Church, Black voters, etc...)

Ron Prentice of the California Family Council and ProtectMarriage.com compiled some statistics to put the win in context. Here are some of them:

The official Statement of the Vote has been released by the Secretary of State. Proposition 8 passed by a margin of 52.3% to 47.7%. Proposition 8 won by a margin of 600,000 votes: 7,001,084 to 6,401,483.

Prop. 8 received 2,150,000 MORE votes than did Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was reelected in 2006.

Prop. 8 received nearly 2 million MORE votes than Dianne Feinstein did when she was reelected to the US Senate in 2006.

Prop. 8 received 250,000 MORE votes than did John Kerry when he carried California in 2004.

Prop. 8 received 45,000 MORE votes than did Barbara Boxer in her landslide reelection to the U.S. Senate in 2004.

Prop. 8 passed with approximately the same percentage of the vote that Barack Obama received nationally.

So did Prop. 8 pass by a landslide or did Obama barely squeak by?

I find it funny how little these Obama voters know about the candidates or their campaigns.

Normally I would dismiss stuff like this as juvenille propoganda. But the responses in this video are totally consistant with just about every encounter I had with Obama supporters.

The video's creator writes:

On the evening of November 4th, 2008 I along with millions of Americans were shocked that a man of Barack Obama’s extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances and policies could be elected President of the United States.

This is further proof that the news media, completely engrosed with Obama’s persona, simply refused to do their job.

Is the Religious Right wrong for the GOP?

I knew it was only a matter of time before my fellow Republicans started taking pot shots at us religious conservatives; blaming us for the outcome of this most recent election. (See Kathleen Parker: Religious right threatens Republican Party's future)

Is it just me or wasn’t the man at the top of our ticket a guy who took great pride in the fact that he was not a member of the Christian right? And wasn’t his campaign run by folks like Steve Schmitt, who did everything possible to run their candidate as anything but a conservative Republican? Face it, this was the year of the “Moderate Republican” and they lost.

The only reason it was as close as it was, was because of the addition of Sarah Palin to the ticket. We all watched as crowds cheered, donors gave and volunteers flooded the campaign. Why were they doing this? It was because this young energetic PRO-LIFE, PRO-GUN, PRO-MARRIAGE, CONSERVATIVE woman was now on the ticket. Like her or not, Sarah Palin brought energy and excitement to this presidential election at levels her more moderate running mate could not. And had it not been for the conservative haters in the campaign undermining her at every turn, the ticket might have done even better.

But let’s be honest, considering the level of Obamania that swept the country and the media, an almost $1 billion war chest and a meltdown of the financial markets; Ronald Regan- heck, even Abraham Lincoln couldn’t have won. So, I don’t blame John McCain. But to blame religious conservatives for the state of our party is just plain wrong.

I believe that there are two primary culprits to this meltdown.

The first is Republicans not walking the talk. We claimed to be about smaller government, but the greatest expansion of government spending happened under our watch. We claim to be about family values, but we had leaders propositioning congressional pages and playing footsies in the men’s room. We claimed to be the party of “Ethics and Moral Values”, meanwhile members of our party are being run out of office (some to jail) under corruption charges. We claim to be a party who supports equality for all, but we can’t seem to find our way to some communities until we need their vote. To make a long story short, we lost because we governed like democrats.

The second culprit is the GOP infighting. Moderates blame conservatives, stating that the only way to win is to abandon our socially conservative principles and change the party platform. Then conservatives fire back, questioning the “Republicanism” of anyone who disagrees with them on anything. We become the proverbial circular firing squad shooting at each other instead of the Democrats. If we are to turn this around two things are going to have to happen. First, moderates need to stop attacking our conservative values. Conservatives make up the core to of the GOP's base. We are the meat and potatoes, moderates are the side dish. So, stop trying to change the platform. Likewise, conservatives must realize that not everyone is going to score 100% on the conservative values test. The party platform is the measuring stick we should use when judging our candidates. But we must also keep in mind that in some cases the perfect Republican candidate will not be the perfect Republican. Believe it or not, one can be a fiscal conservative and social moderate and still be convicted of being a Republican. In the infamous words of Mr. King (Rodney that is) “Can’t we all just get along?”

However, there is a silver lining to this rather dark cloud. The best solution for the syndrome that now ails the Republican party past has always been a Democratic administration. Nothing brings combatants together like a common enemy.

Let us not forget that Jimmy Carter helped us usher in the Regan Revolution. Then there was Bill Clinton’s liberal leadership, which led to the Contract With America. The election of Barack Obama could turn out to be best thing that could have happened to the GOP. That is, if we can learn to get along, govern according to our values and take a serious look at how we plan to attract new Republican voters.

So, what will Republican need to do to attract these new voters? We need to go to where they are; to get to understand their issues; and then, effectively communicate how our common conservative values can produce societal and public policy solutions to the challenges they face.

We have a lot of heavy lifting to do to rebuild our party. And if we are to be successful, it will not be as some sort of "Democrat-Lite" Party. "All the liberal values without the annoying tax increases." It will be because we have committed the resources necessary to build relationships with voters and have focused our message on shared values of family, opportunity and freedom as it applies to all Americans.

Speaker Bass decries racist comments by LGTB community

During an interview with the Sacramento Bee editorial staff, California Assembly Speaker Karen Bass commented on the “hostility” that the LGTB community has shown towards blacks after the passage of Prop 8, which defined marriage as being between a man and a woman.

During a videotaped interview, Bass told of how blacks who actually voted against the measure were confronted with “racial epithets” when they showed up to protest the vote. She went on to point out that some were so fearful they even left because “…they were threatened.”

The Speaker went on to say, “I was appalled at how quickly some members of the LGTB leadership went there…”

Well Madam Speaker, they did. But I understand your confusion. I too thought they were No on H8?

Racist Cartoon has liberal roots

Well this is an iteresting twist!

It turns out that the "Obama Bucks" cartoon was actually created by a liberal blogger in an attempt to "to poke fun at the unrealistic fears and agenda of racism that a fringe element of Republicans strongly embrace."

Do you really buy this? Here are some other pictures on his site.

So what exactly is the social value of these pictures? Even in the context in which he places them in his blog, they do nothing more than promote racism.

I want to be clear.... The "Obama Bucks" cartoon is flat out racist. And the head of the Republican women's group that included it in her organizations newsletter was wrong as the day is long. There is not excuse to propigate such hatefilled material.

But this liberal blogger is just as wrong for creating and posting it as she was for reproducing and distributing it.

Racism is racim. From the right or the left, it is still wrong!

When evaluating Barak Obama's acceptance speach last night one has to wonder who exactly he was talking about, because he sure didn't sound like he was describing himself.

I think Tucker Bounds, McCain 2008 spokesman, put it best when he said:

"Tonight, Americans witnessed a misleading speech that was so fundamentally at odds with the meager record of Barack Obama. When the temple comes down, the fireworks end, and the words are over, the facts remain: Senator Obama still has no record of bipartisanship, still opposes offshore drilling, still voted to raise taxes on those making just $42,000 per year, and still voted against funds for American troops in harm's way. The fact remains: Barack Obama is still not ready to be President."

Now before my liberal friends start accusing me of drinking the conservative Kool-Aide, let me share with you the following information on Barak and just a few of his misleading claims (Hat-tip to the CRP)

ABC News: Barack Obama Proved "He Knows How To Twist With The Best Of Them" When He Cited The McCain Quote. "Although Obama gets substantial mileage out of running against politics as usual, he provided a reminder on Friday that he knows how to twist with the best of them. Speaking in Erie, Pa., Obama charged: 'John McCain went on television and said that there has "been great progress economically" over the last seven and a half years.' As I listened to Michelle Obama Monday night, I couldn't help but remember a tune by one of my favorite Rap artists, Ice Cube, called "Pushing Rhymes like Weight". In the tune Ice Cube describes his ability to "push" (sell) Rap albums (rhymes) like illegal drugs (weight) with the same kind of acceptance.

Michelle, like that dope dealer, is doing nothing but pushing Left-Wing Liberalism like weight to vulnerable Americans who are looking for any physiological reason to escape their currently depraved circumstances.

A dope dealer tries to entice people to consume the "weight" she/he pushes on them. Michelle tried to entice Americans to accept government's control and eventual leading to a "less than stellar" career path that would depend on government increases in the minimum wage in order to get any kind of a cost of living adjustment (aka weight). A dope dealer does not smoke the dope they want to sell to other people. Michelle nor her husband considered the Left Wing Liberalism approach for themselves.

Michelle Obama grew described in detail how she and her brother grew up in a very conservative household. Her mother stayed home and her father worked. She adored her father. He was her foundation. It was the support of her parents; not the local, state or federal government; who ensured their eventually entering and graduating from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

However, Michelle "got up there" on that DNC podium and recited mantras which would have never been allowed to even be recited, much less believed, in her household as avenues to success in the United States of America. There is no known talk of abortion, much less premarital sex. There is no known acceptance of anything other than one man and one woman in matrimony. There is no known acceptance of subsistence on welfare. There is no known understanding that her family "browbeat the rich" of finance in order that the Robinson family could earn a living.

Michelle never mentioned how all americans could follow her footsteps to success. Instead she hammered an alternative path. One that she would never considered for herself, for B. Hussein Obama, nor for her children. One that is as far Left Wing Liberal as one can be - government Control, direction, and guidance.

Michelle's parents stayed together and cared for their children. In Michelle's house, her father was the foundation, not the government's welfare programs. In Michelle's house, her mother was the caregiver and nurturer, not the government's latch-key programs. In Michelle's house, her parents motivated her and her brother to be excellent. They would have never allowed them to be out playing government encouraged midnight Basketball.

Michelle and Obama remind me of "typical" blacks who become successful but do not share their pathway to success with other Blacks. Instead they "throw a dodge" to inquirers in an attempt to appeal to their fears of self motivated success (i.e. pull yourself by your own bootstraps) as opposed to replicating the Robinson household path to parental inspired, self motivated success.

This is why I have such contempt for B. Hussein Obama. He and his wife should be heralding from the rooftops, how to joust failure of its grip by using his and her life's efforts as an example. The government was not in control when B. Hussein Obama attended Honolulu, Hawaii's prestigious Punahou School, an elite private K-12 school where tuition now tops $16,000 a year. The government did not control B. Hussein Obama's path to the equally prestigious Occidental College, Columbia University, nor finally Harvard Law School.

We should never accept anything less than the best for ourselves and the best that B. Hussein Obama and Michelle would have had for themselves. Michelle and her husband should be ashamed for "selling" the "weight" of Left Wing Liberalism to America as a replacement for hard work and dedication.

The following YouTube video is of California State Senator Pat Wiggins (Democrat of Santa Rosa) cussing out Pastor Robert Jones of Oak Park United Methodist Church in Sacramento! Pastor Jones had the nerve to express concern of the negative impact of Global Warming on the poor and minorities (The comment is heard in about 1 minute and 45 seconds into the video clip)...

Rather than criticize and threaten a censure of Democrat Senator Wiggins, The chairperson, Senator Christine Kehoe (Democrat of San Diego) tried to give her political cover by trying to find common ground with Pastor Jones on "the right to an opinion". Pastor Jones was there to state his opinion for inclusion on the issue, not to be a target of profanity by a member of the committee! Unfortunately, she would not be treated as harshly by her colleagues or even the media simply because she is a "Left-Wing Liberal" Democrat.

This is the very reason why I use the phrase "Left-Wing Liberal" to describe these people. Senator Pat Wiggins is descriptive of their intolerance for opposing points of view. Left-Wing Liberals intend to use the global warming myth to make gaining more financial, social, and academic control by the government over our daily living much easier than before.

This reminds me of the time when former California Lieutenent Governor Cruz Bustumante called a group of Blacks "niggers" in a speech he gave before them while still serving as California Lieutenent Governor. There is no known youtube video clip. Like Bustamante, Wiggins will not be protested out of office, not be forced to have sensitivity training, or have the wrath of Black Left Wing Liberals declaring their withdrawal of support of her or the Democrat Party. Pastor Jones needs support and here is another probable missed opportunity to publicly show support for the aggrieved when Democrat racism and vulgarity raises its ugly head.

California - The Real Windfall Profiteer

This past Tuesday, I had the rare opportunity to talk with Michael Genest, who serves as the Director of the California Department of Finance, about the state of the California State Budget. During the discussion Genest pointed out that there is not enough revenue to repair California's roads and highways. I was incensed since I had just filled my gas tank before going to the meeting. I calmed myself before speaking and told him that I had just spent $201.80 filling my tank at $4.57 per gallon. I drive a Ford Excursion. I told him that nearly $90 of that cost goes to the state in taxes and fees. Genest said that I am wrong about that because the excise tax is only 18 cents per gallon.

I had to remind him that the true tax revenue is not just the 18 cents per gallon. There are two other sources - the Board of Equalization's list of taxes and fees per gallon of gasoline and the Corporate profit and loss statements of the gas company from which the gas was purchased. Oil companies compute the corporate taxes, fees, property taxes, and income taxes in the price of gas as well as other business costs. Genest seemed to be very surprised by my response. Genest did capitulate to my understanding.

Unfortunately, California does not see itself as the problem with the high price of gasoline. Left Wing Liberals, who are currently in leadership in California, exclude their destructive role and scapegoat the Oil Companies. Of that $4.57 price per gallon I paid, $2.04 went to the State and local governments. About 9.3 cents per gallon went to Chevron (the gas station where I made my purchase).

This windfall revenue must be eliminated in order to immediately reduce the price of gasoline. Only afterward should other energy sources be pursued. What is very sad is that businesses are closing in Sacramento and all over California due to the crushing impact of high gasoline prices. However because of the state budget deficit and the projected continuation of this windfall revenue in the 2008-09 California Budget, Left Wing Liberals are reluctant to give immediate relief to us California Residents. Just as their socialist dictators do in other countries, they are using all of their legislative power and public influence to direct our anger from them to "Big Oil".

My hope is that we residents resist that manipulation and apply as much pressure a possible on these legislators to do unto themselves what they wish to do unto the oil companies - reduce their profiteering on the price of gasoline.

Despite years of trying to portray themselves as “The Party of Diversity” the true face of the Democrats are finally showing through, as exit polling from primary after primary shows that race is playing a major role in how Democrats are voting.

North Carolina & Indiana:

Race again played a pivotal role in Tuesday's Democratic presidential clashes, as whites in Indiana and North Carolina leaned solidly toward Hillary Rodham Clinton and blacks voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama, exit polls showed.

West Virginia:

One in five white voters said race was an important factor in their vote and 83 percent of them voted for Clinton against Obama, who would be the first black major-party presidential nominee.

Mississippi:

As has been the case in many primary states, Obama won overwhelming support from African-American voters. They went for him over Clinton 91-9 percent.

But Mississippi white voters overwhelmingly backed the New York senator, supporting her over Obama 72 percent to 21 percent.

As a matter of fact Alan Fram of the Associate Press wrote:

Exit polls of voters in Democratic primaries also show that whites who considered the contender's race _ Clinton is white, Obama is black _ were three times likelier to say they would only be satisfied with Clinton as the nominee than if Obama were chosen.

Isn’t this the enlightened party? … Open to a diversity of cultures?

I could go on and on, but you get the point.

This just goes to show that the party that fought to keep slavery, founded the KKK, instituted Jim Crowe, authored the Southern Manafesto and fought against the 1964 Civil Rights Act hasn’t strayed too far from it’s racist roots.

Sacramento Republican Activists Launch Effort to Support the Republican Wing of the Republican Party

(Sacramento) - Limited government, lower taxes and family values are just a few things that voters usually associate with the Republican Party. But recently, elected Republican officials have been actively taking positions against these bedrock Republican values and have supported efforts to increase minimum wage, driving up unemployment; proposed a tax increase on homeowners to pay for fire protection that they are already paying for; and fighting against an effort to protect the definition of marriage, as between a man and a women. Some say you can hardly tell the Republicans from the Democrats these days.

This has caused, a group of Republican Party activists in Sacramento to launch an effort to take back their Republican Party. Today, Support the Platform (STP) officially announced their slate of candidates for the Sacramento County Republican Party Central Committee, along with their plans to help Real Republicans get elected. “Our goal is to make sure that we elect Republican candidates to office who actually support Republican values”, declared Craig DeLuz, Chairman of STP. “Our values are outlined in our Republican Party platform. And if you want to represent Republicans in office, we believe you should support Republican principles.”

The Sacramento County Republican Party Central Committee (SCRP) is the official arm of the Republican Party in Sacramento County. Thirty-one of the Committee’s 44 members are elected by Republican voters in Sacramento County and run by Supervisorial District. The other 13 are positions held by Republican elected officials or party nominees for various partisan offices. “For too long we have allowed our Party to be controlled by people who are hostile to what we as Republicans stand for,” exclaimed Mali Currington, a candidate for the Ninth Assembly District in Sacramento, “I for one am glad to see Real Republicans standing up to be counted.”

STP’s efforts will start with the upcoming June primary where efforts are under way to elect their slate of candidates to the GOP Central Committee. In 2000 California voters overwhelmingly passed Proposition 22, which declared that “only marriage between a man and a woman will be valid or recognized in the state of California”. And an interesting side story was the fact that ethnic voters were amongst the measure’s most ardent supporters with 65% of Hispanics, 62% of Blacks and 57% of Asians voting to protect marriage.

In This I Defend Barack

(The opinions expressed in the following posting and any postings in this blog are my own. But please do not think that I support Senator Obama for the presidency of the United States.)

The subject of “Black Liberation Theology” came up in the news recently. There is a suspicion that presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama subscribes to that particular school of thought and belief. I personally do not and cannot believe that he believes in that theology considering his speech in Philadelphia recently.

He said: “I chose to run for the presidency at this moment in history because I believe deeply that we cannot solve the challenges of our time unless we solve them together - unless we perfect our union by understanding that we may have different stories, but we hold common hopes; that we may not look the same and we may not have come from the same place, but we all want to move in the same direction - towards a better future for our children and our grandchildren…I have brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins, of every race and every hue, scattered across three continents, and for as long as I live, I will never forget that in no other country on Earth is my story even possible.

“This belief comes from my unyielding faith in the decency and generosity of the American people…On the other end, we've heard my former pastor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, use incendiary language to express views that have the potential not only to widen the racial divide, but views that denigrate both the greatness and the goodness of our nation; that rightly offend white and black alike.”

Compare those words with those of Dr. James H. Cone of Union Theological Seminary in New York. Cone has been called "the Father of Black Liberation Theology.” Let's look at something that Dr. Cone wrote that was quoted in African American Religious Thought: An Anthology, "Divine Racism: The Unacknowledged Threshold Issues for Black Theology" by William Jones: “Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

Some may say that I am misinterpreting that statement. According to an article in The News & Observer (http://www.newsobserver.com/politics/story/1008049.html): “Cone wrote that the United States was a white racist nation and that the white church was the Antichrist for having supported slavery and segregation.

“Today, Cone, a professor at Union Theological Seminary in New York, stands by that view, but also makes clear that he doesn't believe that whites individually are the Antichrist.” He is right. White supremacy ruled the day during slavery. Many white churches, not all such as the Quakers, supported slavery and segregation, and even many church members in the South who had no problems in participating in cold-blooded murder in lynching Black men (Thou shalt not kill). But, I beg your pardon. The words as quoted by Cone indicated the present, not the past. “Participates” not “participated.” Also “here and now” means…here and now, doesn’t it, not “back in the day”?

Do those words reflect Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law”? Cone is an ordained minister. Does his words reflect that of a Christian full of the love of God for others? Does he love white people as Jesus loves them?

I am an African American -- black in heart, in soul, in mind, and in body. I also believe that Jesus was black (along with Miriam called Mary, Joseph, Peter, Paul, Moses, all the prophets, all the Hebrews, all the Egyptians, all indigenous peoples in the Middle East during biblical times, Noah, Ham, Shem, Japheth, and even Adam and Eve). In the past, I have experienced racism from white people on a daily basis, even for years. Even though Senator Obama and I differ on some issues, I appreciate his attitude of desiring unity of all ethnic groups in the United States. Cone’s words are the antithesis of Barack Obama’s message. He said that his family is of “every race and every hue.” He honors every race and every hue and is not endorsing “the destruction of the white enemy.” His overwhelming support in many primaries proves that he transcends petty antiquated “destroy the white enemy” nonsense. Research ”Black Liberation Theology” for yourself. Google it.

Did Jesus say from the cross “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do”? or "Father, God damn these Romans for these white devils sure knew what they were doing!" Was Jesus a weak, sissified “Uncle Tom,” kissing up to the white Romans right to very end while dying on a cross? Or was he planning on serving a cold dish of revenge to those white oppressors later as a revolutionary zealot? (By the way, the religious leaders who gave up Jesus to the white Romans were Black. You Black Liberation Theology disciples ever think about that? Were they not “sellouts” in every sense of the word?)

Oh yeah, my cup runneth over.

Is that not the Jesus of Black Liberation Theology? He was a revolutionary. Were not the Romans the white oppressors that needed to be destroyed? I suppose after Jesus resurrected, He came out of the tomb saying to the Roman guards, "Hearken O ye white devils! Crucify me will you? I’m mad! Get ready thou mother.... for the Big Payback! Revenge! Heyyyy! Die thou white oppressor Romans! Go ye to hell and thou shalt enjoy the trip!" and shot a bolt of lightning out of his hand and destroyed all them on the spot, just like that gross scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Then He went to Jerusalem and killed every white Roman, including Pontius Pilate and his wife, and all the Black religious leaders who gave him to the white oppressors. "Burn ye white devil Romans! I’m mad! Whosoever telleth thee that I loved everybody in the world hath lied unto thee! They hath jived you! Burn ye white devils and ye jive-time Negroes! Goeth thou to hell! Bhahahaha!" Later then He told His followers, "Go ye into the all the world, and thou shalt stick it unto the white man by any means necessary. Preach my gospel unto all nations that the oppressor white folks gots to go. For I am a God of love unto all nations of all colors (as long as they are black). Bhahahaha!"

That is not the Jesus I know, "participating in the destruction of the white enemy." Is that the Jesus you know and love? Did not Jesus Christ of the Bible say that he came not to destroy men's lives but to save them?

What did Cone say? "Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." That crap is “old school.” That crap went out of style with the Spanish Inquisition, 8-track tapes, and platform shoes. Is he saying that God should "get on the good foot" and kill some white oppressors or we are going to be very perturbed with Him? He needs to get with the Black Power program or else He is fired or executed? I wonder if there would be an election for a new "Black God" who knows how to obey orders! If Black Liberation Theology was “all that,” then why is it that in all my years I have not heard any successful Blacks testify “I owe my success to Black Liberation Theology,” have you? From George Washington Carver to Oprah to Bill Cosby to Josephine Baker to Booker T. Washington to Nannie Helen Burroughs to Earl Graves to Susan Taylor to Beyonce to Frederick Douglass to Mary McLeod Bethune to Duke Ellington to Smokey Robinson to Martin Luther King, Jr. to A. Philip Randolph to Bayard Rustin to Tiger Woods to Will Smith to Michael Jordan to even Senator Barack Obama? Thousands can be included. The first black millionaire was Madame C.J. Walker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madam_C.J._Walker). She died years before Dr. James Cone was even born. She prospered during a time of social segregation and with no knowledge of a "Black Liberation Theology." (She prospered in spite of segregation? What? Black folks became wealthy during segregation? I thought the white folks held all black folks back, and until the Democrats gave us civil rights, none of us did well. We needed government programs.) Did Halle Berry say when she won her Oscar: “I want to thank my mother and Black Liberation Theology”? As a matter of fact, Blacks did very well without it before it came into existence. Read the books on black history in America. In all the Black churches I have been in all my life and of the hundreds of preachers I have listened to all my life, I have not heard such nonsense preached. Therefore I suspect that many Blacks have not been buying what Black Liberation Theology has been selling.
(Also too, if America is such a bad place for Blacks, why do many Black Africans come here to work and live? They all should want to go back home and warn other Black Africans not to come here.)

I would ask the radical Black Liberation Theology disciples, "How many white people has your God killed lately? I have not seen any replays of Sodom and Gomorrah on CNN, up-to-minute coverage. What's up? Is he asleep at the wheel? He has not even destroyed the KKK, the American Nazi Party, the Aryan Nations, and their ilk? Has your God lost his touch? Has he become color blind? (God forbid!) Did he run out of lighter fluid for his fire and brimstone? I will lend him a couple of bucks to go to Wal-Mart so he can get some. (Since he is God, they will probably let him have it for free.) If you want to kill white folks, you have to do it properly and safely. Or maybe fuel prices have shot up so high, money for God to send fire and brimstone from heaven to destroy masses of white people is just not in the budget at this time? Have the banks been threatening to foreclose on his streets of gold? Does he need to hire good black lawyer? But he still has destroying the white oppressors on his to-do list taped on his refrigerator. He will get around to it someday when the right people are elected and fuel prices go down."

Dr. Cone, didn’t you say "Unless God is participating (present not past) in this holy activity, we must reject his love"? We must “reject his love”? We must reject all this nonsense, don’t you think? If all of the adherents to this peculiar theology are seriously committed to their faith to the letter, then let them organize a public prayer vigil that they may call on their “God” to destroy the white oppressors once and for all. Let’s solve the problems of race in America and in the world by wiping them all out for good. Let’s get it on. Send out news releases to the media and hold press conferences to announce the event. Show me your faith by your works. Faith without works is dead. Actions speak louder than words. If there is no prayer vigil, then we will say that your faith is in vain and it was all “much ado about nothing.” Your God is dead.

Dr. Cone, if you are reading my gentle commentary, I hope you had a change of heart much like former segregationist and white oppressor Governor George Wallace. This is not a criticism of you personally. It is a criticism of your philosophy. Your god is toxic. And I’m positive that Senator Barack Obama would agree that your god is toxic.

And now, defending his staunch support for abortion for any woman or girl who wants it, he has uttered, 'I'm going to teach [my daughters] … about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby!' His ideas of morality and right behavior don't include accepting responsibility for 'making mistakes,' apparently. No, let the innocent unborn pay the price, not his daughter."

Black Editor Correct's Rev. Wright's Errors

Recently the Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr., former pastor of Senator Barack Obama and of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, made the news again.

There is “no small stir” about a few statements of Rev. Wright that appeared in the November/December 2007 issue of his church’s publication The Trumpet. The Cybercast News Service (CNSNews.com) published an article, dated March 26, 2008, entitled “Obama's Pastor Slurs Italians in Latest Magazine.” The article states: “Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago where Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has been a member for two decades, slurred Italians in a piece published in the most recent issue of Trumpet Newsmagazine. In a eulogy ‘(Jesus') enemies had their opinion about Him,’ Wright wrote in a eulogy of the late scholar Asa Hilliard in the November/December 2007 issue. ‘The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans.’

"Wright continued: ‘From the circumstances surrounding Jesus' birth (in a barn in a township that was under the Apartheid Roman government that said his daddy had to be in), up to and including the circumstances surrounding Jesus' death on a cross, a Roman cross, public lynching Italian style. ...'”

I would like to address some fundamental errors made by Rev. Wright. I also want to say that I am an African American. According to the gospel of Luke, there was a proclamation from the Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus that everyone in the Roman Empire was to be taxed and everyone, of all races and ethnic groups, had to register in their own cities. Joseph, Jesus' "daddy" according to Wright, and Mary, Jesus’ mother, had to register in Bethlehem. That was the Roman version of the IRS giving orders to everyone in the Roman world, including the white Greeks. So it had nothing to do with apartheid. Also, he cannot compare South Africa of years ago to ancient Judea which was under Roman military occupation. Rome was the outside controlling authority that ruled the known world of many nations, from white Greece to white Hispania (Spain) to white Gaul (France) to black North Africa which includes Egypt. There was no segregation based on race in that society such as that of apartheid South Africa. Even the Roman army was fully integrated, not segregated. There were black Africans marching next to the white Romans while they were conquering white Britannia (Britain).

Also too, I'm not sure what impression Rev. Wright wanted to make when he wrote "death on a cross, a Roman cross, public lynching Italian style." Those words would seem to indicate that the white Romans hated Jesus, a black man according to Wright, and wanted to see him dead. They finally caught him and "lynched" him, reminiscent to the tragedy of over 3000 blacks being lynched by white racists for several decades in the United States. Even a cursory reading of the New Testament will show Wright to be in error if he believes the death of Jesus Christ was an "Italian lynching." The religious leaders of that day wanted Jesus dead, and they delivered him to the Romans and begged for them to kill him. Pontius Pilate, the white Roman supreme governor of Judea, did not want to kill Jesus. John 18:28-31 (King James Version) says: "Then they (the religious leaders) led Jesus from Caiaphas unto the (Roman) hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the Passover. Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor (criminal), we would not have delivered him up unto thee. Then Pilate said unto them, Take yet him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death...." In other we words, "We brought Jesus to you and it is your job as the Roman governor to execute criminals, not ours." And in John 18:38, Pilate says, "I find in him no fault at all." Therefore Pilate, one of the white Italians who ruled Judea according to Rev. Wright's description, had no motivation or inclination to kill Jesus at all. And Pilate's word meant life or death for anyone in Judea. But the religious leaders voices prevailed upon Pilate by their asking for the release of a murderer named Barabbas and demanding the death of Jesus. In other places in the New Testament, the religious leaders cried “Crucify him! Crucify him!”(Matthew 27:13, Mark 15:13-14, Luke 23:21, John 19:6). Pilate complied. Jesus was crucified.

The Romans had no interest in Jesus. All they were interested in were taxes and people not giving them any trouble. And it is an historical fact that living people pay taxes much better than dead people. Here is another fact. As I said, Wright believes that Jesus was black. I will agree with him. I also believe Jesus was black (but my theology does not depend on skin color. If Jesus was really white it would make no diference to me). Therefore, all of the Jewish leaders who hated him were black too, a fact that Rev. Wright did not seem to mention. Those black leaders sold Jesus, another black man, out to the white Romans. John 19:7 says, "The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God." The Romans could care less about Jewish laws and customs. Those black religious leaders also told Pilate that if he lets Jesus go, then he is no friend of Caesar (John 19:12). Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your king?" Those black religious leaders, replied, "We have no king but (white) Caesar" (John 19:15). It seems those black religious leaders were the real "sellouts" who were "lower than sea level,” using Wright‘s words.

Also Matthew 26:3-5 says, "Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas (all black people), and consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty and kill him. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people." Matthew 27:18 says, “For he (Pilate) knew that for envy they had delivered him.”

Would that not have been the first time in history that black men begged white men to lynch another black man – the most innocent Man in history? Was it not was not a calculated black conspiracy to murder, using the legal mechanism of the “white oppressors”?

As for the statement of Rev. Wright: “The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans,” here are some historical facts on garlic according to the website http://www.kingtutshop.com/: “The ancient Egyptians (who were black) used garlic in many ways, garlic were eaten, both as food and to repel agents of diseases. As a medicine Egyptians thought garlic and onions aided endurance, and consumed large quantities of them.

“Raw garlic was routinely given to asthmatics and to those suffering from bronchial-pulmonary complaints. In ancient Egypt, the workers who had to build the great pyramids were fed their daily share of garlic.

“It was also found in burial tombs including the tomb of Tutankhamen and in the sacred underground temple of the bulls at Saqqara.”

Therefore the ancient black Egyptians had garlic noses, had garlic breath, and had respect for garlic long before the Italian Romans.

(Brush up on your history, Rev. Wright....)

Like I wrote, I do believe that Jesus was black. However, if Jesus turned out to be white and the devil turned out to be black, I choose a white Jesus.

And yes, I believe the ancient Egyptians were black. Do we owe reparations to the Jewish people for 400 years of slavery during the time of Exodus? That makes black people the first slave masters long before the Europeans discovered they can be slave masters too.

To Rev. Al Sharpton: In Defense of the Dunbar Village 4

Dear Rev. Al Sharpton:

I am writing this letter to commend you on your courage. Some say you are not qualified to lead an army of worker ants, but I know the truth. You can lead even less than that.

You went to Florida to defend the “Dunbar Village 4.” You were so right to do that. They were victims of racism. All black criminals are victims of racism. The white man makes them do the things they do. The white concepts of “integrity” and “personal responsibility” are absolutely appalling. Whites want us to embrace those ridiculous concepts so they can hold us down. Black people should have nothing to do with it. The DV4 sure did not have any! Good for them! Now the entire world through the media is getting the impression that black people in America are more willing to defend their own criminals rather than the criminal’s “victims,” who are “law-abiding citizens.” Thanks to you, the world will be convinced of that. What a black leader you are!

So what if the DV4 and six other Black young men, which some call “thugs,” broke into that woman’s house at gunpoint. So what if they made her get naked and raped and tortured her for 3 hours. So what if they forced her pre-teen son get naked too and perform sexual acts on his mother. So what if the son got a plate broken over his head.. So what if that is something that he has to live with the rest of his life. So what if they poured chemicals in his eyes. So what if they had to walk to the nearest emergency room. They probably deserved all that punishment. They don’t matter anyway. After all, they are only black, Haitian even. That makes them not black enough.

When that incident happened, you did well to ignore it completely. Why? Because white folks were not involved. What’s use of being a black leader if you can’t play “Pin the Tail on the White Man”? No white men raped and tortured that woman. That’s no tragedy. Who cares if black folks commit crimes against other black folks. We are supposed to keep our mouths shut. You did well to run to the defense of Tawana Brawley. If black men raped that poor, upstanding and completely honest young black woman, it would have been a complete waste of your valuable time to get involved. (She and her mother did well to run, I mean leave town and take that defense fund money donated to them, over $100,000, with them.) Even the organization that fights for black criminals' rights, the NAACP, told “black activist” Gina McCauley, who cannot keep her nose out of other people’s business, that if that black woman and child were attacked by whites, then they would have gotten involved last summer when it happened. But since black young men did it to her and not whites, they did not think it was a tragedy at all. They declined to get involved. If white folks are not involved, it's just not worth protesting.

Black leaders like you have never worried about “integrity.”

Some narrow minded people would say, “Shame on you, Rev. Sharpton for defending black thug criminals and saying they are victims. You need to retire, and quit claiming the black leadership mantle.” Some people would say that you “play the race card like a rock star,” but I know better. You are a master of playing period! And you have proven that time after time. You have never disappointed me.

Keep being an example of black leadership in America so that the world can see.

But as the former Clinton pastor was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl at his home last March, Judge Michael L. Dwyer said Procanick sacrificed his honesty the day he testified. Okay, so now that Clinton's pastor has been convicted of child molestation, will we see the same furor directed at Hillary that Obama has had to endure these last few days? - M. R.

But think about this. Fifteen years ago, would you have thought that Hillary would have been treated like a white Republican by black Democrats? She is being crucified and her black supporters are being called traitors, Uncle Toms, and handkerchief head Negroes. They don't show black Republicans any love anymore.

Fifteen years ago, Hillary was black, just like her husband. The same blacks that hate her now, loved her back then. The Clinton's could do no wrong. Did you know that Bill is in the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame? What did he do to deserve that? ("He made us black folks feel good! We need a white Southern man to love us!") I bet they are supporting Obama.

Hillary is now an honorary Republican. And Bill is not black anymore.

But remember, the same media who is going crazy over on Rev. Jeremiah Wright of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago(who I have met and whose church I have visited) is the very same media who hates President Bush and Republicans, white and black. It is the same media who loves to expose Republicans in sexual scandals. If they treat Hillary better than Obama, what does that tell you? Who is benefiting from this Obama-Wright flap? I can just about guarantee if there was a Republican scandal happening right now, they still would not talk about Hillary's pastor, just to protect her.

I hope blacks are finally waking up to reality. White Democrats have historically hated Republicans and blacks with a little too much power. They were that way in the 1860's. They are the same way in 2008.

Senator Barak Obama’s quest for the presidency has been in major turmoil over the last few weeks. These problems have stemmed from controversial comments made by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. These statements were made from the pulpit of his church which Obama attended for over 20 years. For those of you who have not heard these comments, let me just say that they were incendiary, anti-American, racist and needless to say, not very Christ-like.

But the fact that Jeremiah Wright would make such hateful comments doesn’t surprise me at all. The truth is, he is not the only “Man of God” that has chosen to use his platform to advance an agenda that has nothing to do with God.

Just this week the San Francisco Chronicle wrote about sermon delivered by a Rev. Amos Brown on Easter Sunday; where instead of using the occasion to recognize the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ; Rev. Brown chose to berate the President of the United States, and declare the recent criticism of Obama to be a conspiracy hatched by white America. I must have missed that part of the Easter Story…

Rev Wright is Wrong!

On December 31, 2007 I celebrated 20 years as a Minister. I have pastored churches and dealt with every antic that can be endured. I have enjoyed so many blessings on that same path. Much of my experience in the Ministry parallels B. Hussein Obama's Former Pastor and Spiritual Adviser/Leader Rev. Wright. It has NEVER been necessary for me to use such inflammatory rhetoric in order to share the Gospel with ANY person, group, or congregation!

While there are those in the Black Community who share the centiments of B. Hussein Obama's Former Pastor and Spiritual Adviser/Leader, there are many more who do not. There are some who are virulent as he is, but there are many who are not.

From Klansman Byrd, to Louis Farrakhan, to Rev. Wight and others, Black Left-Wing Liberals are always trying to defend the indefensible. It is tiring to constantly hear that they have such endearment for these political savages while allowing Current U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleeza Rice, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and Current U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, to be trashed without relief by White Left Wing Liberals with no defense of their contributions and success. Jeremiah Wright's record pales in comparison to the level of achievement that many blacks attained with the help of Secretaries Rice & Powell, and Justice Thomas. Yet (according to Left-Wing Liberal Dogma) we Blacks are to condemn Secretaries Rice & Powell, and Justice Thomas, while providing a "political hedge of protection" around this Left-Wing Liberal.

Today's public defense of B. Hussein Obama of Jeremiah Wright will not help Obama's campaign for president either now or long-term. All it will do is give White Left-Wing Liberals more political cover to continue their racist tirade on the Black community by using "Big" government to keep blacks dependent on the public welfare system.

Rev. Wright is not merely controversial, he is factually errant. He is as diabolical with his public recall of history as his ancient political colleagues who justified slavery and later segregation. Any person who holds this man in any level of esteem must be seen as a person who lacks the requisite judgment to be in any high office in this Country.

Lastly, What's with the flags? B. Hussein Obama didn't want to wear one on his lapel because he didn't want it to become a substitute for "true patriotism", but when he is in political trouble he sure knows how to change the drapes.

Emanuel Cleaver claims he’s is an ethical dilemma when it comes to either supporting his “friend” Hillary Clinton, or follow his constituents and support the first Black man for president. Below is an excerpt from a NPR piece broadcast last week:

Cleaver is not only receiving backlash form his own constituents, but from Democrat African American bloggers as well. Here’s an open letter from the blogger “Skeptical Brotha” to what he calls “handkerchief Heads”.

Dear Handkerchief Head:

You have been unconscionably silent in the face of Bill Clinton’s racially divisive tactics on behalf of Senator Clinton’s presidential campaign. I can only surmise from your silence that you either approve of Bill Clinton’s tactics or are too gutless to publicly register your opposition. Whatever the case may be, I have taken the liberty of writing to formally register my unbridled indignation and to withdraw whatever support I may have given to your re-election campaign.

Pretending that the President’s comments were somehow taken out of context or don’t mean what they plainly imply simply will not do. Burying your head in the sand or defending the indefensible won’t do either. It’s time to do-you know what-or get off the pot. You can delay addressing these comments if you want to, but you do so at your peril.

Some of us were raised to believe that members of the Congressional Black Caucus were among the best Black public servants in the country. Your actions belie that notion and constitute a slap in the face to those that came before you in the Reconstruction era. They fought valiantly for a seat at the table for African Americans before they were disenfranchised through the white supremacist tactics of mob violence, grandfather clauses, literacy tests, and poll taxes.

Continuing to languish on the Clinton plantation in light of these racially divisive tactics is a betrayal of the progressive ideals of the Democratic Party and to the many unsung heroes of the civil rights movement who fought to make America a functioning and pluralistic democracy. As for me, I am through with the Clinton’s and I am too through with you.

The United Methodist Church has found a way to skirt their official position on homosexuality. Rev. Drew Phoenix has done just such a thing. According to reports (I have no carnal knowledge of this) Rev. Ann Gordon had a sex change from female to male. While it is not clear what her orientation was or is, it is clear that it allows homosexuals a significant opportunity to mitigate the controversy of their religious leadership.

Pre-op or Post-op, it doesn't matter. Who's going to check!! So now homosexuals can just call themselves "transgendered" and at least the United Methodist Church will have no problem with it.

Alan Greenspan's Shortsightedness

Former U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman (seen above with his Left Wing Liberal Wife journalist Andrea Mitchell) seems to want to launch a Left Wing liberal attack on President Bush. In Greenspan's new book "The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World".

Greenspan opines, "I am saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: the Iraq war is largely about oil..."

Now if Greenspan, a life long Republican, felt so motivated to making a potentially explosively remark, he should have informed his readers that every major war and conflict was based on the control and distribution of oil. note the following:

The U.S. entry in World War I was because former Democrat Woodrow Wilson in 1917 on the side of the Entante Powers (Russia, France, Britain, and Italy) arguing that "The world must be made safe for democracy." In reality Wilson was in full support of the Britain's control of oil (especially Mexican oil).

The U.S. entry in World War II was because former Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt wanted to support the British and the French in opposing Japan, Germany, and Italy's pursuit of oil.

The Korean War of the 1950's was started by former Democrat President Harry Truman's insistence that the oil rich Korean peninsula had to be governed by a U.S.-Soviet Joint Commission. The Korean's protested and organized violent efforts to replace the Commission. what resulted was the south being armed by the U.S. and Britain against the North which was armed and financed by the Chinese and the Soviets.

The Vietnam War was started when former Democrat President John F. Kennedy decided to protect France's oil interest in Vietnam. France was given that territory as the spoils of World War I.

The 8 year war between Iraq and Iran began because former Democrat President President Jimmy Carter decided to no longer back the Shaw of Iran against the Muslim extremists who joined the communist forces in Iran. That pull back in power allowed for Muslim extremists to take power in Iran and instigate a war against Iraq. Furthermore, it became the basis for both Gulf War I and Gulf War II.

The U.S. entered the War in the Balkans under former Democrat President bill Clinton, was started over the control of oil out of the former Yugoslav republics. In 1995, Clinton stated that our "peace keeping force will be in the Balkans for only one year. 12 years later, we still have 6900 troops there at a cost of about $7 Billion to the U.S. Treasury.

Greenspan has lived long enough (81 years in fact) and has been exposed to enough facts and events as a member and Chairman of the most powerful central bank in the history of the world NOT to make such foolish, one sided comments.

Greenspan falls in the long list of RINO's who feel compelled to give undeserved appreciation to former President Bill Clinton while finding ways to be critical of President Bush and fellow Republicans. I would also suppose that his wife Andrea Mitchell had alot to do with that.

According to those who have advance copies of the Republican hit piece, there is no mention of the failures of the Clinton Administration that led to the Attacks on 9/11. There is no mention of how the Clinton Administration decimated the net worth of the Black Family by 1) only expanding opportunities for subsidized housing and health care, 2) incurring that the largest tax increases at the time that created the heaviest financial burden on the average Black middle class family, 3) increased the minimum wage which disproportionately reduces opportunities for that average teenage black person to begin employment and avoid gangs violence and drugs, and 4) advanced policies that increased the illegal alien population disproportionately in the Black community thereby harming opportunities in the black community for employment and building of black wealth by forcing Blacks to compete with cheap, illegal labor.

More than ever, we conservative Republicans are faced with the sad reality that it is us against everyone to our left. We must continue to fight and anger Left Wing Liberals. Arrest their senses with our passion and desire to destroy socialism. I only wish that we Republicans could do a better job at weeding out these spineless Republicans overwhelm all those who dangerously find comfort among Left Wing Liberals. Greenspan, you got away!!

Gonzales is Gone!!

Republicans will not lose support from Latinos

Why is it that RINOS and Left-Wing Liberals were saying that Republicans are going to lose the Latino vote because we conservatives didn't like the Illegal Alien Immigration/Amnesty Bill? Inherent in their diatribe is this condescension that Latinos in the U.S. are pro excusing illegal behavior and the national government must coddle that position.

This Bill was simply an attempt to immunize those who have violated federal law (i.e. members of the business community, local & state jurisdictions, Democrats, and of course illegal aliens - NOT ALL LATINOS). RHINOS and Left-Wing Liberals are right about one thing - this was the best opportunity for the members of the business community, local & state jurisdictions, Democrats, and of course illegal aliens to get their legal immunization. The following have blown this issue to at least 2012...

The oncoming 2008 Presidential election
The possibility that a Democrat will be elected President thereby removing any leverage that a President could have with the Republican Minority
The possibility that if a Republican is elected in 2008 that person would be too afraid to offend those who voted for him to support any other Illegal Alien Immigration/Amnesty Bill
The Possibility that Republicans regain a majority in either or both houses of Congress.
Any combination of the above
The anguish among proponents of the Illegal Alien Immigration/Amnesty Bill was about defining the best opportunity for them and their financial backers to "evade" legal responsibility for enabling and participating in illegal behavior.

No matter what names the RINOS and Left-Wing Liberals call us, we must remain vigilant and diligent. Doing what was right is the legacy of the Republican Party. RINOS and Left-Wing Liberals fashioned the compromise that ended Reconstruction. The end of Reconstruction is known to be the end of Black power in the south and allowed for the Democrat rise of Jim Crow.

'08 "Super Tuesday"

I wrote several days ago that the American Civil Rights Coalition headed by Ward Connerly - a national leader striving for a "color blind society" - would be making an important announcement regarding ballot initiatives in several states next year. Yesterday in Kansas City, I attended and spoke at the press conference announcing the formation of the Missouri Civil Rights Initiative. It was the second stop on the five state tour of Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arizona, and South Dakota. The ballot measure will seek to ban government-sponsored race and gender preferences in public employment, public education and public contracting. Here is the actual proposed language:

“The state shall not discriminate against or grant preferential treatment to any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education or public contracting."

Recent ballot initiative victories in Michigan, Washington, and California, have shown that that these measures passed with strong grassroots support. The internet has become a logical extension of the power of grassroots organizing; with its advantages of quick and cost effective communication. No doubt, the opponents of the measure will use scare tactics and blatant mistruths to distort the purpose of the initiative, but fortuntiately, the blogosphere will be able to counter them.

Missouri Civil Rights Initiative's Tim Asher, former director of admissions as North Central Missouri College said such a measure has never been more necessary. “Efforts to assure equal opportunity in Missouri are admirable,” notes Asher, whose contract at the state school was not renewed after he raised questions about the college’s preferential admissions policies, “but discriminating against some in favor of others is not the answer. That only perpetuates unfairness and ill feeling. We are individuals and should not be reduced to stereotypes – especially by our government.”

Also attending the press conference was Honorary Missouri Civil Rights Initiative Chairman John Uhlmann, longtime activist and volunteer Linda Bond, and Jennifer Gratz, whose discrimination lawsuit sparked the Michigan ballot initiative.

Don Imus' "nappy headed ho's" comment was racist and insensitive, but it was not worth firing nor even suspending him. I was sitting here wondering why so many Left-Wing Liberals were attacking this registered Democrat so viciously. About 10 minutes of research uncovered some "still open wounds" that Imus caused against Left-Wing Liberals...

Imus and his crew, Charles McCord and Bernard McGuirk, are frequently accused of racism, misogyny, and homophobia. Imus referred to sports columnist Bill Rhoden as a "New York Times quota hire" and PBS anchor Gwen Ifill as a "cleaning lady".[5] Imus has repeatedly referred to Arabs as "ragheads."[6] He has berated many female newsreaders, most recently Contessa Brewer, which caused her to leave the show. After she left the show, Imus went on a tirade, saying, “With that fat ass she’s got, she wouldn’t be one of ‘em,” (a beautiful woman). Imus said on the air, "That skank has to spend three hours with makeup in the morning." The tirade was also tied to comments that were overheard of Contessa's calling Imus “a cantankerous old fool” at a dinner in a restaurant in 2005, when she was still newsreader.

Sid Rosenberg, who provided sports updates on the Imus show, got into trouble when he suggested on air that tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams were animals better suited to pose for National Geographic than Playboy[8] and that Palestinians mourning the death of Yasser Arafat were "stinking animals" upon whom the Israelis "ought to drop the bomb right there, kill 'em all right now..."[9] He was fired from the Don Imus show after making crude remarks about Australian singer Kylie Minogue's breast cancer diagnosis, despite the hysterical laughter from his crew.[10] Chris Carlin replaced Sid Rosenberg.

Even topping those comments were the following...

On the May 24 edition of MSNBC's Imus in the Morning, host Don Imus referred to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) as "Satan" 11 times, once calling her "that buck-tooted witch, Satan." During an interview with NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell, Imus even claimed that Clinton was "worse than" Osama bin Laden, but then partially retracted his statement, saying: "Well, that's a little strong." During the same interview, Imus called former Vice President Al Gore "the phoniest bastard on the planet," adding that Gore is "a horrid human being."

Although Don Imus is a registered Democrat, He offended the Left-Wing Liberal establishment and that is why he is being attacked so angrily by Left-Wing Liberals. Notice that He is not being "raked over the coals" for despicable comments he made about conservatives. Black Left-Wing Liberals such as Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are not angered over comments and artist renderings made about Black conservatives such as Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice.

I have little regard for Don Imus. I do not watch his show nor do I listen to his radio station. However, I am not willing to join Left-Wing Liberal Hypocrites in protecting their reputation while ignoring mine as a conservative. Don Imus does not need to apologize to me and he does not need to be fired!!

KGO, the ABC affiliate out of the San Francisco Bay Area interviewed yours truly for a story they were doing on Freddie Oakley, the Yolo County Clerk Recorder who plans on handing out “Certificates of Inequality” on Valentines Day to same-sex couples who come in and ask to be married.

The interesting part of this whole story is how they go out of their way to portray Mrs. Oakley as an “Evangelical Christian”

And while they did include some of my comments in the article posted on their website. They left out all of my comments in the story they would run on the evening news.

CNN and Vidor, Texas

Last night and tonight, CNN's Paula Zahn is doing a special on Racism in America. Their initial focus was on a small city called Vidor, Texas. While they did highlight Vidor's racist past, they did not point out that all of those racists were Democrats.

Paula Zahn didn't have to go to Vidor, Texas, a city that most of the nation has never heard of. She and her CNN crew could have just gone to Los Angeles, crossed the 6th street Bridge going east, and notice that the area has no Blacks, Whites, Jews, or Asians. Most of East Los Angeles is habited by racist Mexicans who literally terrorize and murder Blacks for being Black. (The link I used connects to a reprinted version the original story that ran in the LA Times about Mexicans murdering Blacks). Attacks on Blacks in East Los Angeles rival the attacks by Democrat Klansmen did during Jim Crow. To date, there is not record of that happening in reverse.

Remember this timeless quote by Former Mexican President Vicenté Fox:
"There is no doubt that Mexicans, filled with dignity, willingness and ability to work, are doing jobs that not even blacks want to do there in the United States."

Latino small businesses rarely offer employment of those who are not Latino and discriminate against Blacks when applying for rental housing in predominantly Latino neighborhoods.

So instead of just pointing out racism and intolerance by Whites, Paula needs to investigate racism by "Browns".

Power Hording in the GOP

First the Republican Party moves to the left which costs the leadership in the Congress in 2006. Now the Republican Party "bosses" have tapped Florida Senator Mel Martinez to be the new RNC Chair. This is yet another example of Party leaders hording power rather than sharing that power with other competent leadership such as Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele.

The selection Martinez is nothing more than a pacifist effort by those Republicans "who still trust" the Left-Wing Liberal Media's assessment that America rejected the "seal the borders first" policy of Conservative Republicans. Congressman J.D. Hayworth of Arizona is still fighting for his political life against the apparent winner in his race because the "Democrat" was somehow able to convince the electorate that J.D. was not hardline enough on Border Security.

The Deaf Mutes who currently lead the GOP do not realize that a continued effort to convince Black America will pay off in increased electoral wins. The GOP has yet another unique opportunity to reach out to Black America by selecting Lt. Gov. Michael Steele to be RNC Chair.

Once again Black Liberals give a White Liberal a pass to attack a highly accomplished Black Woman. Yesterday on ABC's the View, White Left Wing Liberal Rosie O'donnell made the folloing statement about Dr. Condoleeza Rice in a discussion on women becoming President:

"I don’t think she could win, because I think she’s like that person on Scooby Doo who unzips themself and then it’s Dick Cheney’s evil twin brother is inside of her. That’s what I think.”

Morton Kondracke is an evil man for making the following statement about Maryland's Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele:

I think it’s a very effective ad. If Michael Steele were really so interested in having his sister cured, he would be in favor of all kinds of stem cell research.

This statement was made on the Hugh Hewitt Radio Talk Show. The discussion was about an ad in which Lt. Gov. Steele's sister, Dr. Monica Turner did for her brother in response to the fraudulent ad done by Michael J. Fox. Dr. Turner is a Pediatrician and also has MS.

Kondracke believes that if we are not concieving enbryos for the sole purpose of murdering them for their stem cells the we cannot love our loved ones as much as he loved his wife Millie who died of Parkinson's. Until Morton's idiot statement, I actually had compassion for his loss. I now beleive that I had compassion for an evil and bitter man who is hell-bent on destroying whatever life is necessary to achieve his goals. I wouldn't be supprised if Morton endorsed an embrionic gulag for stem cell harvesting,

Morton also serves on the Michael J. Fox foundation, so I am not supprised that hwo would be so defensive of michael's deceit in those "pro-cloning disguised as stem cell research" political ads.

Maryland's Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele Loves his sister Dr. Monica Turner more than mort loved millie because Lt. Gov. Steele is focused on looking for ways to cure MS for his sister without trying to murder clone and murder other humans in the process. Having "ripe" stem cells, like being black, should not be another vise of mort and his left-wing liberal cohorts to destroy human life in the name of being "progressive".

In Fedruary of 2006, 22 year old Tammy Skinner murdered her baby while the baby was still in her stomach. Tammy was due to deliver the baby on the day she blasted the child while still in the womb.

By March, the Prosecutor and the Police could not agree on the charges for Tammy!!

On October 19th she walked out of court with charges dismissed because Judge Westbrook Parker ruled that Tammy had the right to give herself an abortion regardless of how gruesome it was. Her dad said that she suffers from depression. This calls for the invention of a new word...Prepartum Psychosis

I was contacted today by a Washington Post reporter who is writing a story on the radio ad controversy and the resignations of my fellow five board members a year ago. Talking about the NBRA reignited a myriad of emotions ranging from anger to disappointment.

Immigration vs Illegal Immigration (Uncommon Sense Radio)

Earlier this week I participated in a forum at Sacramento State University on Illegal immigration. It was an interesting discussion that revealed the spectrum of philosophies on this topic. Positions ranged from respecting the rule of law and our borders to setting aside the rule because of what they call “political realities” to doing away with the rule of law and our borders.

My fellow panelists included:

Dr. Manuel Barajas, an adjuct professor and Sacramento State University

Eric Z. Guerra, the legislative aid to Senator Gilbert Cedillo (D-Los Angeles).

And Felix Barba, a junior at Sacramento State University

Dr. Barajas represents the “Borders are unjust” contingent and advocates for their elimination. Eric was much more pragmatic. He acknowledges that we need borders, but believes that our immigration laws don’t match up with the reality that 11 million illegal immigrants are here and more will keep coming. He believes that we should overlook their transgressions and provide for their needs. And finally Felix, the youngest of the group, stood up for protecting our borders and for the enforcement of the law. He went on to point out how ignoring the law has become prevelent in their native country and how that trend is manifested in people ignoring our borders and illegally entering the United States.

All in all it was an interesting discussion. I hope you find it informative.

"Fringe Left" Helps Embolden Mainstream Media

The moveon.org crowd, or the fringe left as they are sometimes called, is gaining more and more influence since Ned Lamont's upset victory over Senator Joseph Lieberman. After a string of successive losses for candidates they financially supported, Ned Lamont's upset victory has validated their grassroots vigilance. Both anti-war and anti-Bush, moveon.org has successfully tapped into a vocal, internet savvy, Democratic minority who are taking the party away from the center.

The organization's victory has also emboldened the mainstream media to further jump on the anti-war band wagon by airing the docu-drama "Path to 911" which is critical of the Clinton administration. Hillary Clinton supported the Iraq war, and when pressed, has not retracted from that vote. Many believe Senator Clinton can win the Democratic Party's nomination but fear she will have difficulty winning the general election. Katrina: One Year Later

As I age, one thing that continues to amaze me is the speed in which the weeks, months and years pass by. Today marks the one year anniversary of the land fall of Hurricane Katrina. The worst natural disaster in American history, it is not an exaggeration to claim its wrath and destruction were in proportion to events described in the Bible. The storm caused us all to re-evaluate the value of life and to more closely examine the persistent poverty still in existence in many of our urban centers.

I have visited New Orleans on four occasions, each time either staying in hotels in the suburbs of New Orleans, the French Quarter, or downtown. Outside of taking a street car tour, I never realized the poverty facing African American New Orleanians, especially while partying in the French Quarter or taking museum tours.

Hurricane Katrina also marks the one year anniversary and cause of the end of my association with newly formed National Black Republican Association. I proudly announced on this blog its formation and mission, including my new role as its communications director.

The NBRA started out with great promise, gaining the attention of the national press and of the Republican National Committee. Our board consisted of African American grassroots leaders from all over the nation. I truly believed we were on our way to making a difference. This was a ground up organization instead of a top down organization, or so I thought. As Katrina devastated the Gulf coast and washed away homes, businesses, and destroyed lives; leaving the ugliness of sheer devastation. Katrina also washed way the false veneer of the NBRA being a truly grassroots organization - as we were lead to believe by the chairman. Thus circumstances being as they were, six board members along with myself resigned in protest from the authoritarian control of Chairman Frances Rice.

As I stated earlier, the organization had great promise but as the past year has shown, the National Black Republican Association has become irrelevant and impotent They are now relegated to selling T-shirts on their website proclaiming "Martin Luther King was a Republican" and supporting the laughingstock Florida U.S. Senate campaign of Katherine Harris. Even Francis Rice, Chairman of the NBRA, admits they haven't had much influence or success in the past year:

"Frances Rice, chairwoman of the National Black Republican Association, said the group, started last year, has yet to see a significant exodus of African Americans from the Democratic Party."

What a year it has been.

The New Black Panther Party for Self Defense has established a headquarters in a rough neighborhood in Philadelphia.They are said to be advocating for "black unity and empowerment" in the crime ridden neighborhood. A neighborhood where a street is jokingly renamed "Killfield" from "Clearfield" by local residents. A man was murdered on this street by being shot 15 times. To achieve this black unity and empowerment, the group offers HIV testing and a future after school program for kids, all positive and productive activities. A troubling aspect of the organization's philosophy is their hostile stance against the police and their overt racism. Read more...

I have intentionally avoided listening to any coverage about Mel Gibson's drunken tiraid against Jews. The reason is that while the western press was so angered about Gibson's comments, almost no one in that same press seems to give a damn about the blatant anti-black racism produced by Left-Wing Liberals in the U.S. and Arab Press:

I formally condemn these dipictions and the provocateurs who originally produced and published them. I demand that the provocateurs be publically ridiculed and beg for forgiveness in the same way that both U.S. Senator Trent Lott and Mel Gibson have done.
